It was a nice experience for me to Judge the event, Tour de’ India conducted by Techniche, the annual techno-management festival of IIT Guwahati. In association with Incredible India, the event was organised on the 6th September from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM in the campus of IIT Guwahati.
All together 10 groups from reputed educational institutes like IIT- Kharagpur, IIT- Guwahati, IIFT – Kolkata, KIET – Ghaziabad etc presented their paper in the event.
The problem statement was to build a concrete strategy to optimize the condition of tourism in a city of their choice. The judging criteria being, clarity of ideas, feasibility of its implementation and the methods devised to boost local tourism.
